"Die Moral von der Geschichte verstehe ich mitnichte." – "I don't get the moral of the historical"

The naturalistic replica of a hand raises its own severed index finger. On the pedestal is the sentence: "Die Moral von der Geschichte verstehe ich mitnichte." – "I don't get the moral of the historical". On the ceiling inside the display case, which the severed index finger points to, is a picture of the Earth with a sea level rise of 60 metres and expanded deserts. (If both poles melted completely, the sea level would rise by approximately 67 metres.)
